Fed: Report critical of immigration detention
A report showing serious management failings and abuse of detainees at immigration
camps has forced the federal government to review detention for illegal arrivals.
The report by former High Commissioner to London PHILIP FLOOD follows an investigation
into the detention system and allegations of child abuse.
It confirms widespread problems at immigration centres, the most serious of which occurred
