FED: Elders say police persecuted embassy protesters
Aboriginal tent embassy elders in Canberra are claiming cultural and religious persecution
after reclaiming ceremonial spears seized by police last week.
Police removed the spears and wood from fires set by protesters outside Parliament House on
Monday last week, after complaints they were unauthorised erections on parliament and National
